The Aqua-Forte Ultra Sieve III custom lid upgrade is a separate option that is used in applications to reduce the rate of evaporation as well as sound dampening.  This is important because the high rate of water movement occurring inside the USIII will increase the rate of evaporation from your water feature but can also be loud from the splashing & resonance inside the box.
